TripKit is our easy-to-learn, easy-to-use, highly customizable digital concierge app. It was created to help solve some of the age-old problems that the hospitality industry faces.
TripKit comes as a Guest App and a Staff App. The Guest App allows guests to go through a hotel’s offers from the comfort of their own smartphones and make bookings or requests as they see fit. The Staff App focuses on attending to these requests, tracking guest itineraries, and other staff-based functions.
Today, we will be looking at 4 different types of requests that can easily be handled through TripKit.
1. Food Reservations
One of the conveniences that TripKit offers your guests is the ability to peruse your restaurants and their menus from their smartphones before making their selections.
The reservation process for restaurants and ordering food is made simple through TripKit. Guests can simply pick the restaurant they want and the food they’d like from your menu.
This will send a request to the relevant staff that an order has been placed. The staff can then respond to the order to let the guest know that it has been received and is being attended to, all in real-time.
2. Housekeeping and Maintenance Requests
TripKit also allows your guests to make housekeeping and maintenance requests. It also does a lot to prevent delays or communication errors.
Instead of using a phone to call the front office or housekeeping, guests can simply make the request through their app. This will alert the relevant staff directly that such a request has been made. The staff can respond to the request, again in real-time, to let the guest know that it is being attended to.
Additionally, TripKit has multilingual support and can make it so that these requests can be perfectly understood, even if the guest and the staff have a language barrier.
3. Activity Bookings
Your guests can use TripKit to easily book excursions and other activities. All the information they will need can be made available through the app.
While guests can simply go down lists to find what they like, they can also opt to try the map function TripKit offers. The map shows the entire premises of the hotel or resort or other such establishment. Guests can tap individual locations and see what activities and facilities are on offer.
They can then make bookings right then and there without having to click away or go to another menu. TripKit places convenience front and center when it comes to the Guest App.
4. Event Bookings
TripKit can also be used to book your facilities for events. This can be done for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other formal and informal ceremonies.
These requests can be made on the Guest App and will be received by the relevant staff using the Staff App. They can respond to the requests in real time.
TripKit also helps staff prevent double bookings and other communication errors.
And there you have it! Four types of requests that TripKit can handle. With the app, your staff can stay on top of all the booking requests, maintenance requests, and food orders that may come.
